Training Planner
The following ten-week training planner has been prepared by two-time Commonwealth Games gold medallist, Kerryn McCann. Kerryn has participated in The Sun-Herald City2Surf several times, and as a two-time winner of the event, is very familiar with the preparation that is required.
Kerryn has designed the training program to cater for both beginners and more experienced runners. If you feel you can increase the kilometres then go for it but it’s important to not overdo it especially if you are a beginner. You can also change your rest days or weekly training to suit your lifestyle. Set yourself a realistic goal and enjoy!
